That was the fuse cutout failing to isolate the power outage at 0:11 and you can hear power go out and return again with the brownout before a complete blackout occurs at 1:33 as the fuse cutouts completely failed. you can see the fuse hanging there and arcing at 0:13. The explosion was above the transformer and transformer failures usually begin with a loud pop or zap and then begin hissing as the flammable oil vaporizes with smoke billowing out and possibly starting a fire. I've witnessed a real transformer failure about 2 days ago and it was just a loud pop and then it hissed out smoke like a steam engine. This was not a transformer failure but rather a failure of the fuse cutouts that were supposed to isolate the power outage to the area with the downed wire. Both failures can be pretty loud when they occur which is why it's important to know the difference between the two failures. When one fuse cutout goes out, it's supposed to isolate the power outage and turn it off to the area with the downed wire. which reroutes remaining power to the aeras without downed wires.

Did it matter what bumper design you went with? I have a 00 Blazer but I have the front end that has the chrome bumper with the place trim piece that pops into it and I want to buy one like what you have? I’m pretty sure the brackets are the same just different design for the blazers right?

What controller do I buy and from who,where do you get the program to change all them settings?

Is that a single din bezel. My 03 S-10 came stock with the double din radio and the bezel broke in several places and is beyond repair. The only issue is that the only replacement I can find is for the single din factory/aftermarket radios. Can I buy one and cut/install the single din bezel and use the kit you're using to cover the cutout? What kit did you use? I'd really appreciate the help.

Did you find that both the factory and dealer AC lines to be the same fitment in the newer r134 manifold? Think I made a mistake of buying a r134 compressor and manifold. Cross referencing part numbers on the AC lines between it all is a nightmare. Everything else is easy

Do you still have plenty of leg room with these seats? Mine had Celica seats in and they had me too close to the steering wheel.

Where did you get the liquid hard line that bolts to the wheel well? It looks new. I’d love to get a new one for my truck. I’m currently doing my truck now which is the second Toyota I’ve done. I bought all new components except hoses.

A few tips. Most AC supply houses have line flush kits for fairly cheap. AC systems like to be very clean internally. So I recommend that with used system components. If the compressor in the old system failed then there is debris that needs cleaned out. Also I’d never use USED evap or condenser coilS because you can’t flush the contaminants out. I know from experience. Also, they have drop in replacement refrigerant that works like R12. So you don’t have to swap to R134. Keep the R12 system and get the drop in refrigerant. It’s called RS-24.

Is that column courtesy light harness on all of the 89-85 trucks, whether or not you actually had it on your steering column? Basically I’m asking if I changed my column plastic cover & the new one had a light, does the truck come wired for it, so you could plug it up?
